On Thursday 25th September we visited the National Space Centre.
We had a great day. Here are some pictures of our space themed artwork using chalks.
On Friday 26th September we had a Macmillan coffee day. In the morning we served the staff of Hook school with morning coffee and cake and in the afternoon we had an afternoon tea for all our parents.
We raised a fantastic amount of £200.07 for Macmillan
We joined Class 6 for a fun Frisby afternoon.
We have taken our learning outdoors, and had a maths lesson out in the playground
In the classroom we were set a Maths challenge!! Although we found the challenge difficult it was a fun way of learning. Was this really a Maths challenge or was it a reading challenge?
Class 5 have been enjoying Bike Club on Wednesday afternoon's. The club is run by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Road Safety team and covers some basic bicycle maintenance, bike handling skills and some small elements of road safety in regards to cycling.
In our P.E lessons we have been enjoying playing badminton with Mrs Challenger and have been using the apparatus with Ms Mann. Take a look at our slide show which we feel shows how much fun we have had.
On the 15th April Class 5 were invited by Hook Parish Council and the Groundwork team to plant sapling trees on the Gala Field in Hook. We all had a great time and are happy that we have contributed to the future natural environment of Hook village.
We had great fun learning first aid skills with the St. Johns Ambulance.
