We have all settled in really well to our new school life. We have been doing lots of fun activities learning our sounds.
One of our favourite activities has been practising our letters by drawing in the sand.
As well as learning in the classroom we love to spend time in our outdoor learning area. We have a role play area outdoors as well as one in the classroom and we love to take the chalks out to practise our drawing and writing.
As we are now approaching Christmas we are spending time practising for our very first school performance and can't wait to see you all when we perform!!
A big thank you to all the parents and carers for our wonderful costumes.
Mrs Jessop came in to school on pancake day to help us make pancakes. They were yummy and we had great fun!!
We have been learning about colours and which colours are mixed to make others.
Mr Butt (Assistant Road Safety Officer) from the East Riding Team came in to school with the balance bikes and we worked on road safety.
As part of our topic work this term entitled “Go Wild” the children were visited by Sam’s Safari. They brought in a variety of small animals which provided the children with hands on experience of some of the animals we will be learning about this term.
