Class 4's topic this term is entitled "Whizz Popping Inventions".
As part of our topic we visited Making It at Mansfield at the beginning of October. A great day was had by all
As part of our topic, ‘Whizz Popping Inventions,’ class 4 children were given the challenge of inventing a device that allowed them to communicate with their talk partner from 10 metres away. The children explored a range of recycled materials and created their own inventions!
We have now completed our ten swimming sessions at Goole Leisure Centre.
By the end of the sessions all children had made excellent progress and a good time was had by all.
This term our topic is 'Journeys'. As part of this we have been learning about various aspects of Indian culture. On the 12th March we were visited by "Curry Cuisine" who ran various workshops throughout the day. We learnt how to make and create an authentic Indian Curry, Chappatti and desert. We explored a variety of spices and made our own sauces from scratch.
In keeping with our Indian theme for this terms topic of 'Journeys' we performed a 'Bollywood' dance at the Dance Festival at the Junction. The performance was outstanding and we won the competition. They will now compete in the regional final at Cottingham High School in April.
