Greek for Education and meaning to ‘draw from within’, Edukos Trust is a family of primary schools, currently all from within the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The Multi-Academy Trust (MAT – originally named Swanland Education Trust) was formed in 2013 when Swanland Primary School (who became a Single Academy Trust in 2011) agreed to support Dunswell Primary School in becoming an academy by converting to a MAT, allowing Dunswell to become part of the Trust’s family.

The journey from then to now has been both exciting and interesting. In 2015 the Trustees met to discuss the future of our MAT and began to set out some of our values and ethos, in the hope that this would support our growth, whilst also establishing structures of The Trust as it currently stands today and ready for our future.

Fast forward to 2018 and this work paid dividends in that two more primary schools joined the family with Airmyn Park Primary School joining in May and Hook CE Primary School joining in June. These schools added further strength and capacity to our small but already strong team.

At Edukos Trust, we’re proud of our strengths and the collaborative approach we take to supporting the children, families, staff, and wider community that we serve. It is for that reason that we are keen to welcome new members to our family of schools and look forward to being able to work with you in the future.

We hope that you find our website useful and informative. If you would like to know about something which you can’t find on our site, please use the ‘Contact Us’ form to find out more.
